What are we capable of creating from a fully alive body?

Soma Rasa is somatic studio exploring the relationship between the body, desire, and creative work, through nervous system science, erotic intelligence, and ancient technology. For individuals creating lives that feel as good as they look. And for collectives imagining what becomes possible when we create with the body.

We can become so fluent in what we want that we forget to check whether we want it. We know how to meet the deadline, hold the room, build the business, articulate the vision, while the body turns into an optimized machine. Desire becomes something to discipline and pleasure becomes a reward for having done enough. But what if the body is where our most interesting work begins?

We explore what happens we begin to understand the body as a source of intelligence, desire, and creative possibility.

AT SOMA RASA, We’re practicing a more alive way to work.

A studio for the body of your work

The practice is embodied. The inquiry is intellectual.  The possibilities are yours to make.

Soma Rasa takes its name from soma, the body, and rasa, the juice, flavor, or essence of life.

Our work lives at the intersection of somatics, creative practice, and the study of desire. Three dimensions inform the way we work.

You can't intellectualize your way into feeling creatively alive.

The body doesn't respond to decisions - it responds to practice, sensation, presence.

Creatively Turned On –

Three months. Twelve 1:1 sessions. One question: What does creating feel like when you're fully alive?

You know how to make things happen. But perhaps your work looks right on paper but feels strangely flat. Perhaps you have ideas you can’t seem to bring to life. Or perhaps you’re ready for something bigger, but you don’t want to build it by overriding yourself.

Creatively Turned On is an invitation to explore what changes when your body becomes part of how you create.

Over twelve weeks, we explore:

  • Sensing: Recognising the body’s signals before they become impossible to ignore.

  • Desiring: Distinguishing what genuinely animates you from what you’ve learned to pursue.

  • Expanding: Developing your capacity to meet visibility, uncertainty, intimacy, and possibility without automatically retreating into familiar patterns.

  • Creating: Bringing greater clarity, vitality, and embodied choice into the work you’re here to do.

Our weekly 1:1 sessions are body-first. 1:1 because this work is precise, and precision needs privacy. Three months is enough time for your baseline to actually shift and for you to feel the results in your body.

CREATIVE PRACTICE, IN COLLECTIVE.

What becomes possible when we create from the body, together?

Our bodies shape how we think, collaborate, imagine, and respond to uncertainty. Yet the spaces in which we do our most ambitious work rarely make room for the body at all.

Soma Rasa brings embodied inquiry into collective spaces through somatic workshops, creative laboratories, retreats, and collaborative experiences. The work draws on somatic practice, creative inquiry, contemplative traditions, and the social dimensions of how we work and live together.

Each engagement is shaped by its context: the people in the room, the questions being explored, and the possibilities the space is designed to open.

The erotic is not a question of what we do. It is a question of how fully and acutely we can feel in the doing.

Hi, I’m Naina

And I’m constantly thinking about the body’s intelligence while working from it.

Soma Rasa brings together my work across somatics, sociology, creative design, contemplative traditions and psychology .My inquiry first began at Columbia University with a question that has increasingly felt charged:

How do the ways we inhabit our bodies shape what we believe is possible?

My background in sociology offers a lens on the cultural forces that shape our desires, identities, and ideas of success. My training in somatic and contemplative practices offers ways of exploring these questions through direct experience. My creative practice keeps the inquiry alive through writing, performance, and making.

I’m interested in the space where intellectual understanding meets embodied experience — where an idea becomes something you can feel, test, and live differently.

Soma Rasa is where these threads meet. It is a living practice of discovering what life can make possible through us. I work with ambitious women expanding their capacity to hold success, visibility, and aliveness for the long haul —through embodiment and somatic psychology, with eros as the bridge. I also consult with select organizations on a larger scale, because the micro and macro are inseparable.

What someone create from a rested, present body changes everything it touches. I know because I’ve lived it.

What if how alive we feel became the new currency for how well we’re doing?

Explore living this question, together. My somatic coaching containers are application based. I only work with a few 1:1 clients per year.
