This practice uses 3 somatic tools: body scan, physiological breath, and pendulation.
First, you will be guided to notice where you’re holding tension through scanning your internal landscape. This builds your interoceptive skills, used to feel and understand bodily signals.
Then, you will stay with the stress instead of breathing past it, because some amount of stress is beneficial.
Next, we will use the physiological sigh, to deactivate your sympathetic stress response.
And finally we will use a pendulation technique, where you will swing between stress and ease, to restore your body while also building resilience.
